The mission of the 101 Unit is to promote the welfare of the Order in general and El Kahir in particular. Members should be available for all Shrine activities. The duties of the 101 Unit will be at the will and pleasure of the Potentate. The origin of the Unit's name is from our commitment to serve the Potentate by accomplishing the 101 things requested by the Illustrious Sir.

The 101 Unit participates in parades during the summer months, to remind the general public of the primary mission of Shriners -- the support and maintenance of the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. The 101 Unit tiles all El Kahir meetings and ceremonials. The 101 Unit has an annual dinner meeting for its members and their ladies. The monthly 101 Unit meetings afford members the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.

Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Shrine Activities Center.
