The North Iowa Shrine Club Circus was a big success! There were 3 shows on Saturday, May 8, 2010 and 2 shows on Sunday May 9, 2010, Motherʼs Day. We had lots of Shriners there to help sell Circus Programs/Coloring Books. Illustrious Sir Linc Aldershof, Chief Rabban Dan Bush and Assistant Rabban Larry Ritze came up to Mason City to help sell Programs and lend their support.

There was great attendance at all 5 shows. We estimate that there were over five thousand in attendance. The George Carden Circus International had Tigers, Elephants, English Sheep dogs, Clowns, Bicycles, Motorcycles, The Wheel of Destiny, Aerial Acts, Jugglers, and Princess Elayne who at 17 years old can hold her whole body up by her mouth gripping a metal bar with only her teeth, and shoot a bow and arrow with her feet popping a ballon. At intermission there were Pony Rides and Elephant Rides.

Chief Rabban Dan Bush and NISC President Mike Hrubes are pictured on an Elephant along with the Nobles who helped at the Circus.
