Linc Aldershof was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA as the 3rd generation of a long time Masonic family.
He graduated Kennedy high school and entered into the business world at Cedar Rapids Tent & Awning. Linc was
married for 21 years and had two sons, which are now both serving in the United States Air Force. His oldest
boy made Linc a grandfather as of Dec. 27, 2007 with a beautiful girl. Linc decided after 29 years of working
in the custom canvas manufacturing and tent rental business and serving as President of the Upper Midwest Canvas
Products Association it was time to leave the family business. Linc took on the financial world at The Principal
Financial Group as an insurance and securities rep. for most of 2004. In July of 2004 Linc was recruited by a
German company to startup and run the division of structural membrane and tent materials in the United States and
Canadian markets. Since October of 2004 this has been his place of employment. Linc has been actively involved in the fraternal world in Cedar Rapids since 1975 at which time he enter Crescent Lodge # 25. In the spring of 1976 Linc joined the Scottish Rite, York Rite and Shrine. He has served in several capacities in all bodies and received the 33rd degree from the Scottish Rite in 1999. |
