Larry Ritze was born September 1, 1958 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Laurence and Elnora Ritze. The long awaited son after 4
girls. He graduated from Center Point High School and then attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa where he participated
in cross country and track. Larry has 4 children Nick, Luke, Brooke and Felan. He also has 4 grandchildren ranging in ages from 7 months to 8 years. Larry belongs to Marion #6 lodge in Marion, Iowa. He joined El Kahir Shrine in 2005 and is a member of the championship Revvin Fezz Unit and a charter member of the Ambassadors Club of which he is Past President. He has been instrumental in coordinating El Kahir's event center through scheduling outside rentals, weddings, meetings and other parties. Larry has worked for Linn County for the last 18 years in children related programs. Larry enjoys golfing, the outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends. He also has been known to play a hand or two of Texas Hold Em. |
